Our Mission
At Guiding Light Ranch, we believe horses and nature have a unique ability to help people slow down, reconnect, build confidence, and experience meaningful personal growth.
Our mission is to create accessible, educational, and wellness-oriented ranch experiences that encourage learning, responsibility, emotional well-being, and connection through hands-on experiences with horses, animals, and the outdoors.
As we grow, we hope to expand opportunities for children, families, veterans, and individuals of all abilities to experience the healing power of time spent in nature and around horses.
Why We Started
Over the years, we have witnessed the powerful impact horses can have on people’s lives.
We have watched individuals find peace, confidence, connection, and purpose through time spent with horses and in the outdoors. We have also seen how many children thrive when given the opportunity to learn responsibility, patience, and confidence through hands-on equine experiences.
Guiding Light Ranch was created from a desire to make those experiences more accessible to our community — especially for youth, families, and individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience horses and the outdoors in a meaningful way.

Programs are designed to provide a welcoming, family-oriented ranch environment where participants can learn, explore, and connect at their own pace.
Through horses, outdoor experiences, and hands-on learning, we aim to encourage:

Guiding Light Ranch programs are educational and experiential in nature.
Guiding Light Ranch does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, or clinical services.
Nonprofit status is currently pending approval.
Donation opportunities will become available once approval is finalized.
